Assistive Technology Quick Access toolbar customization

There are features within Microsoft Word which are valuable for students with special needs.  Often, however, students are not able to locate those features, they don’t know those features exist, or otherwise it is too time-consuming to navigate to various layers of menu structures to get to the feature they want.  On the normal template on Word, a specific toolbar with specific features which are valuable for special needs students should be created.

Take a look at this detailed video with instructions on how to customize the quick access toolbar, as well as reasons for creating a custom toolbar for students with special needs.
